All my training focusses on developing the all important "soft" skills for individuals and team development. The interpersonal attributes you need to succeed in the workplace. How you work and relate to others - in other words - People skills. 

 

The two core foundations of high performing teams are trust and communication. A complex mix of ingredients to master. After all we've never been taught how to be a great team player.

Enhance Emotional Intelligence ( EQ) 

Emotional intelligence ( EQ) is a foundational and essential skill which is widely recognised to be as important if not more so than IQ.

Our emotions guide our mindset and subsequent actions or inactions. Having greater awareness about our emotions and others, enables us to  connect on a human level to improve communication, collaboration, empathy and become a more cohesive team. Developing A Feedback Culture 

Feedback should be part of everyday culture: 

 

Positive recognition and constructive feedback matter deeply to people,  impacting on engagement, learning, growth and workplace performance.

How often do you dread or avoid giving positive and constructive feedback?

Coaching skills for leaders 

Coaching skills for leaders are fundamental.

 

Twenty-first century "managers" simply don't and can't have all the answers. In short the role of the old style "Manager" is becoming that of a "Leadership" style coach. Particularly among the millennials / Gen Z. 

 

Coaching was traditionally circled for the C-Suite. It's changing and a necessary practice for all leaders to develop. 

 

The challenge is many don't know what coaching is and how to approach empowering conversations to support the growth of individuals.
